Bobby Glover can assist you with applying for your new home loan.
When purchasing a home, applying for a mortgage loan is distressing for a lot of people, but it doesn't have to be.
I have close professional relationships with several lending companies in the Cumming area, and they've helped me realize some things that make the loan application process a breeze.
1 – Compose a list of questions about your loan program
If you don't thoroughly realize the ins and outs of the different programs, make sure to have a list of questions.
I or one of my trusted lenders will be able to assist you with understanding the advantages and disadvantages of each one, because it can be hard to know the characteristics of fixed and adjustable rate mortgages.
2 – Decide when to lock
Locking in the rate means that a mortgage lender holds to the interest rates for the loan – often at the time the loan application is sent in.
By floating the rate, you can lock the rate anytime between the loan application day and at the time of closing. Those who decide to float presume that the interest rates will dip in the near future. Click here to see the outlook for the next 90 days of interest rates.
3 – Determine if you want to pay additional points to decrease your interest rate
When you decide to pay additional points to lower the rate of your mortgage loan, you will pay for them in cash at closing. Each point is 1 percent of the mortgage loan.

4 – Compile your paperwork
Obtaining a mortgage loan requires a lot of paperwork, so you should spend some time getting your documents together. Click here to see normal questions you'll have to answer on a loan app.
